Cuentos y Cultura, interactive literacy event with stories, music, and expressive arts featuring dual language story books.
Intergenerational Programs
Intergenerational Programs collaboration with River Mills Assisted Living Facility and the Chicopee Family and Community Program. Creative activities with Preschool children and families with seniors living at River Mills.
Creative Youth Arts Lab
Creative Youth Arts Lab co-created with LGBTQAI+ and BIPoC youth that engages queer identity, social change, and cultural belonging. In a creative and nurturing space youth and artists explore team building, story circles, creative writing, Bomba de Puerto Rico, dance, and performance.
Community based Mural
Community based Mural with Liberty Hill Townhouses in partnership with Springfield–based Home City Development Inc., created a multifaceted arts integrated literacy program designed to support families in addressing their community’s educational challenges, and to train youth leaders to recognize the power of their voice within the community.
I’ve been waiting my whole life for a program like this.
