Arts & Advocacy with the City of Holyoke Conservation & Sustainability dept. The Conservation Commission is responsible for protecting Holyoke’s natural resources. They administer and enforce Massachusetts Rivers and Wetlands Protection Acts, Ordinances and associated Regulations. These laws protect ponds, rivers, streams, wetlands, floodplains, vernal pools, and other sensitive environmental resources.
